Li <br />0 • <br />May 28, 1987 Project 116-1. <br />immediately transferred to an ice chest containing frozen blue ice, <br />and transported to California Water Labs, in Modesto, at the end of <br />each day. <br />The capped Shelby tubes, containing soil samples, will be transferrer <br />to Terratech, Inc. for permeability testing. <br />3. The boreholes that are not intended for permanent vadose monitoring <br />wells will be filled with cement grout. The grout will be pumped <br />through a tremie pipe that is set within five feet of the bottom of tr <br />borehole until grout appears at the ground surface. Lysimeters will I <br />installled in the boreholes that are intended for permanent vadose zor, <br />sampling. <br />4.
