The results of these tests shall be reported to
the Board and shall include comparison with earlier tests made under comparable
conditions.
.ZURFACE WATER MONITORING
Surface water flows from on and around WMUs shall be sampled at the point(s)
where they leave the facility boundary, during the first storm of the rainy
season which produces significant flows. Surface water samples shall be
analyzed for the following:
Parameter/Constituent
Chemical Oxygen Demand
Specific Conductance
PH
Total Dissolved Solids
Chlorides
Sulfates
Dissolved Iron
Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen
Report In
Units Of
mg/l
umhos/cm
pH units
mg/l
mg/l
mg/l
mg/l
mg/l
GROUND WATER MONTTORING
The following detection monitoring program shall be implemented at the site to
determine compliance with the ground water "water quality protection standards".
Report
in
Sampling
Parameter/Constituent
Units
of
Frequency
AA for the following:
Mercury
mg/l or
ug/l
Yearly
Arsenic
mg/1 or
ug/l
Yearly
Chromium (Hexavalent)
mg/l or
ug/l
Yearly
Selenium
mg/l or
ug/l
Yearly
EPA Methods 601 and 602 will be
used to characterize volatile organics.
