MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -7- <br />FORWARD INCORPORATED <br />WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY <br />CLASS II LANDFILLS <br />CLASS III LANDFILLS <br />CLASS II SURFACE IMPOUNDMENT <br />CLASS II LAND TREATMENT UNIT <br />CLOSURE OF CLASS I LANDFILL <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />Surface water flows from on and around WMUs shall be sampled at the point(s) <br />where they leave the facility boundary, during the first storm of the rainy <br />season which produces significant flows. Surface water samples shall be analyzed <br />for the following: <br />Report in <br />Parameter/Constituent Units of <br />Chemical Oxygen Demand mg/l <br />Specific Conductance /tmhos/cm <br />pH pH units <br />Total Dissolved Solids mg/l <br />Chlorides mg/l <br />Sulfates mg/l <br />Nitrate mg/l <br />Dissolved Iron mg/l <br />Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen mg/l <br />The following detection monitoring program shall be implemented at the site to <br />determine compliance with the ground water "water quality protection standards". <br />Monitoring Wells: <br />The following wells will be monitored for all indicator parameters at the <br />prescribed frequencies: <br />Well No. Comments and Depth of Screened Interval Below Ground Surface <br />MW -1 <br />Downgradient from <br />WMU A, 50-70 feet <br />MW -2A <br />At facility east <br />boundary, 62-82 feet <br />MW -3 <br />Downgradient from <br />WMU A, 50-70 feet <br />MW -4 <br />At west boundary <br />of WMU A, 48.5-68.5 feet <br />MW -5A <br />Between WMU D and <br />the creek, 55-75 feet <br />MW -6 <br />Upgradient of WMU <br />D, 45-65 feet <br />MW -7 <br />Adjacent to MW -8, <br />45-65 feet <br />MW -8 <br />Upgradient of WMU <br />B, 85-95 feet <br />MW -9 <br />Adjacent to MW -4, <br />99-108 feet <br />MW -10 <br />Downgradient from <br />WMU A, 98-108 feet <br />MW -11 <br />Downgradient from <br />WMU E, 50-70 feet <br />MW -12 <br />Upgradient of WMU <br />E, 50-70 feet <br />
