Signs An identification sign was present C
at the gate and included the name
of the site operator.
17657 Entry Signs Identification signs were present C
at the gatehouse and contained the
required information.
17658 Site Security I observed an approximate 100 foot
section of fence down at the Austin
Road property line. Alan Biedermann
of the Local Enforcement Agency
(LEA) informed me that heavy equip-
ment had accessed the site at this
point to perform erosion control
work. (See Slide 1-14.) 1 also
observed an access point at the
southwest corner of the property
where a vehicle had driven onto the
site and illegally dumped a clothes
drier.
17659 Access Roads The access roads were smooth, paved C
and provided all-weather access to
the facility. No dust or tracking
problem was observed.
17660 Internal Roads Entering the site from the main A
gate, I observed no signs to direct
me to the tipping area. Therefore,
I proceeded ahead, ending up at the
Eastern Ash Pit. Suitable signs are
needed which show the direction of
the working face.
17666 Sanitary Sanitary facilities were available C
Facilities near the office, the ash pit and
the service area. The facilities
consisted of portable units which
were serviced weekly.
17667 Water Supply Drinking water for site personnel C
was available from a cooler located
in the site office.
Page No. 3 of 10
Waste Management Specialis
