cubic centimeter. '!ince actual field sampling work was performed
by an employee of Eliumaily and Butler, the undersigned cannot
assume responsibility for the validity of the field procedures
used in the sampling. It should be noted that the laboratory
report indicates that loose dirt was found on the bottom of the
filter backing support pad of three samples, and that all the
filters appeared to be blank.
As noted in a recent previous report on asbestos testing, the
OSHA and ACGIH threshold limits for asbestos fiber exposure in
the workingplace are each 0.2 fibers per cubic centimeter of air.
Since all samples were well below these levels at the time of
sampling, it can be concluded that there was no hazard to workers
from asbestos exposure during the sampling time.
Please contact me if You have any additional questions on this
information.
Attachment
Sincerely,
0.
John D.
