Your driver was <br />drenched by the load when he opened the back gate of the bin. The <br />water escaped all over the dumping pad. <br />Simultaneously to the ensuing commotion, the Cal Waste Board <br />was conducting an inspection of the Forward Landfill. Ther cited <br />Forward Landfill for accepting liquid waste! <br />We explained that it had never happened before, and we didn't <br />let the entire load dump; .in fact, we turned it away. They still <br />insisted on ci tin,�,, us ! <br />Jim, we must ask you to inform Diamond Sunsweet that liquid <br />waste can not be accepted at landfills; and we must ask that your <br />driver scrutinize Diamond Sunsweet loads in the future for liquids. <br />Your drivers are also to inform the gate attendant at Forward <br />whenever they arrive at the landfill with a Diamond Sunsweet load. <br />This will allow us to verify no liquids in the load. <br />Sincerely, <br />FORWARD, INC. <br />Gregory asso <br />Vice -President <br />P.
