Box 6336 <br />Stockton, CA 95206 <br />ACCEPTANCE OF ASBESTOS WASTE AT FORWARD LANDFILL (CASE# 2209) <br />Section 25143,7 of the California Health and Safety code states <br />that "Waste containing asbestos may be disposed of at any <br />landfill which has waste discharge requirements issued by the <br />regional water quality control board which allow the disposal of <br />such waste, provided that the wastes are handled and disposed of <br />in accordance with thP 94-469) <br />and all applicable laws an regulations." Therefore, you may <br />accept asbestos waste at Forward landfill for disposal in the <br />Class III landfill waste management unit.
