This refuse consists of relatively dry commercial and industrial <br /> solids and domestic waste collected mainly from customers within San <br /> Joaquin County. Prior to disposal, salvageable materials , chiefly paper <br /> products and metals, are removed at the site recovery center, and <br /> unrecoverable wastes are then taken to the disposal area located at the <br /> southeast site corner for final disposal.
