Treatability <br /> 1. Soils containing more than 100 ppm TPIi or the treatability <br /> level, as approved by all regulatory agencies, must be treated <br /> until they contain less than 100 ppm TPIi and 0.7 ppm benzene. <br /> 2 . Soils containing less than 100 ppm TP11 or the treatability <br /> level, as approved by all regulatory agencies, and less than <br /> 0. 7 ppm benzene can be disposed of directly into WMU D or It. <br /> 3 . Soils proposed for use as a foundation layer of cap at closure <br /> must be approved by the CIWMB and the LEA. <br /> 4 . The highest concentration level of a soil contaminant will be <br /> used to determine if the soil has been sufficiently treated. <br /> Final Disposal <br /> I . Treated soils or those sol.ls appropriate for direct disposal <br /> shall be disposed of in WMU D or Ii. <br /> 2. . Soils meeting the criteria for disposal may be used as <br /> alternative cover provided CIWMB and LEA approval has been <br /> received. <br /> Initially, these conditions will be implemented through a case-by- <br /> case review by the Environmental Health Division before Forward, <br /> Inc. will be allowed to proceed with the self.-implementing <br /> acceptance program.
