2. This Permit Modification is effective upon the date it <br /> is signed by the Facility Permitting Branch Chief, Region 1, <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control (hereafter, Facility <br /> Permitting Branch Chief) . If the Permittee appeals this Permit <br /> Modification or any requirement thereof in accordance with Title <br /> 22, Cal. Code of egs. , Section 66271.18, the appealed provisions <br /> shall be stayed in accordance with Section 66271.15. <br /> 3. This Permit Modification updates, modifies, and <br /> reformats the Hazardous Waste _Facility Post-Closure--Permit issued <br /> to Permittee on January 2, 1990, and modified on March 2, 1994. <br /> Accordingly, the requirements contained in this Permit <br /> Modification shall supersede all of the requirements of the <br /> January 20 1990, Post-Closure Permit and the March 21 1994, <br /> Permit Modification No. 1. <br /> 4. Any management of hazardous waste with respect to Waste <br /> Management Unit A not authorized in this Permit Modification is <br /> prohibited. <br /> 5® Vhe Department's issuance of this Permit Modification <br /> does not release the Permittee from any liability or duty imposed <br /> by federal or state statutes and regulations, or local <br /> ordiriances, except the obligation to obtain this Permit <br /> Modification* ..,..The Permittee shall comply with all applicable <br /> provisions of Chapter 6.5 of Division 20 of the California Health <br /> and Safety Code and Title 22, Cal.
