Needle tubes: Clean reusable instruments that are to be sterilized are first <br /> sealed in a sterilization packaging that contains a sterilization indicator. Each <br /> sterilized package will be labeled with name, date of sterilization, and initials of the <br /> person operating the steam autoclave. Each sterilization gets packed with a Class <br /> V integrator, date, contents, time, temperature, and sterilization results are <br /> I agged. <br /> 2. Calipers: N/A <br /> 3. Other instruments: Clean reusable instruments that are to be sterilized are <br /> first sealed in a sterilization packaging that contains a sterilization indicator. Each <br /> sterilized package will be labeled with name, date of sterilization, and initials of the <br /> person operating the steam autoclave. We have single-use needles which are <br /> disposed of in the sharps container and taken to the proper disposal site. <br /> C. Storage: <br /> All sterile peel packs are stored in dark anddry cabinets to keep them from <br /> being exposed to dust and moisture. All cabinets are thoroughly cleaned before <br /> items are placed inside for usage after sterilization and packaging. <br /> D. Set Up and Tear Down of Workstation: <br /> 1. Tattoo: Artist washes hands consistently with hygienic practices. <br /> /appropriate PPE is worn along with gloves. Immediately prior to performing the <br /> body art, the clients skin shall be prepared with an antiseptic solution, <br /> antimicrobial microbicide according to manufacturers instructions. Questions will <br /> be answered as well as aftercare instructions will be provided. Waste is discarded <br /> accordingly and sharps in the sharps waste.
