The following is an itemized list of underground storage tank violations that have not <br /> been addressed for KETTLEMAN CHEVRON as of December04, 2023. <br /> Open violations from August 28, 2023 inspection <br /> Violation#306 -Failure to remove, analyze, and properly dispose of water in secondary containment <br /> (pre-Jul 2003). <br /> OBSERVATION Liquid was observed in the 87 west fill sump. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: If water could enter into the secondary containment by precipitation or infiltration, it <br /> must be removed and disposed of properly. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately remove this liquid, make a hazardous waste determination per Title 22 <br /> hazardous waste regulations, and manage it accordingly. Ensure that all sumps and annular spaces are maintained <br /> free of liquid. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #318 - Failed to meet spill container requirements. <br /> OBSERVATION The 91 direct-bury spill container failed when tested. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All spill containers shall have a minimum capacity of five gallons and be capable of <br /> containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or cleaned up. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately discontinue deposition of petroleum into this tank until the component is <br /> repaired or replaced by a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor under permit and inspection of the EHD. <br /> If the spill container can't be replaced immediately, there is a possibility that the 91 UST system may be red tagged <br /> to prevent fuel inputs. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br />
