Closed Disposal Site Inspection Report (188) <br />Peters County Dump (39 -CR -0027) <br />1/8/2025 <br />A.) Cover exposed solid waste with clean soil. <br />B.) Repair burrows with clean soil. Implement controls to prevent future burrows. <br />No Areas of Concern <br />Inspection Report Comments <br />Notes: <br />1. The quarterly inspection was conducted with Operations Manager, Glenn Abrescy. <br />Returning the property to compliance and LEA expectations were discussed. <br />2. The violation for grading of fill surfaces has been corrected. Burrows with exposed waste <br />were not observed near the southern perimeter fence. Operator is to implement control <br />measures to prevent future burrows. <br />3. Operator is working on a contract with developer(s) to obtain clean soil for the site. <br />Operator is to notify the LEA when a contract is in place. <br />4. The LEA and operator had a discussion regarding the stock piled concrete near the <br />entrance of the site. Operator intends to use the concrete for various projects at the site. The <br />LEA has approved the use of the concrete for the berms at the facility. There was a decrease <br />in the amount of concrete during this inspection. <br />5. Per operator, the mounds of dirt piles located on the eastern portion of the property are <br />from the county. The soil piles were observed not to be clean. Operator instructed not to <br />accept such dirt and properly dispose of the dirt that is currently on site. <br />6. The berm located southwest of the pit, consists of organic material and solid waste. <br />Operator intends to rake out the organic material and then cover the remainder of the berm <br />with clean soil. The LEA. approves this process. <br />7. If owner or potential buyers are contemplating any Post Closure Land Uses (PCLUs) for the <br />site, please be advised that there are additional requirements pertaining thereto. Pursuant to <br />the PCLU provisions of T27CCR, Section 21190, the PCLU Plan shall be submitted to the <br />LEA, the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), local air district and local land use <br />agency for review and approval prior to commencing any construction or pre -construction <br />activities for such PCLU. <br />8. T27CCR, Section 21200 requires that CalRecycle and EHD are notified at least 45 days <br />prior to the sale or transfer of the property. <br />CalRecycle Solid Waste Information System (SWIS) Page 2 of 3 <br />
