This <br /> waste is ground on-site, mixed with additives or supplements, and shipped off- <br /> site. The product shipped off-site is applied to land. <br /> Title 14 California Code of Regulations, Division 7, Chapter 3.1 Compostable Materials <br /> Handling Operations, requires that testing be done on compostable material that is <br /> being land applied. The testing consists of physical contamination limits, maximum <br /> metal concentrations and pathogen density limits. Sampling for this testing is required <br /> every 5,000 cubic yards of product and a minimum of once every 12 months. <br /> Sampling was due by May 20, 2023.
