Exhaust hood <br />Optional exhaust installations: <br />24" (61 cm) washer/dryer models can be converted to exhaust <br />out the right or left side. To convert the washer/dryer, use <br />Side Exhaust Kit Part Number 279823. If your washer/dryer <br />was previously exhausted from the right or left side, it can be <br />converted to rear exhaust by using standard offset connections. <br />To cover the hole in the side, the following plug can be added: <br />692790 (white) <br />Follow the instructions in the kit to install. Terminate the exhaust vent outside. <br />Determine vent path: <br />Select route that will provide straightest and most direct <br />path outdoors. <br />Plan installation to use fewest number of elbows and turns. <br />When using elbows or making turns, allow as much room <br />as possible. <br />Bend vent gradually to avoid kinking. <br />Use as few 90° turns as possible. <br />26
