8 7 6 1 5 4 3 2 <br /> FRESH WATER TANK(S) CLEANING AND SANITIZING PROCEDURES <br /> D D <br /> NOTE: <br /> PLEASE NOTICE THAT THIS WATER DIAGRAM IS A GENERAL WATER DIAGRAM USED BY THE MANUFACTURING COMPANY, THE FOLLOWING FRESH WATER CLEANING AND SANITATION GUIDELINE WILL BE PREFORMED <br /> BY CUSTOMER/OWNER OF THE MOBILE FOOD UNIT DURING THE PHYSICAL INSPECTION AND PERIODICALLY CLEANING TIME. <br /> SANITIZING INSTRUCTIONS: BY THE RONCO TANK <br /> * CAUTION: DO NOT USE FOR GAS AND/OR FUEL STORAGE *TO ASSURE COMPLETE SANITATION OF YOUR POTABLE WATER SYSTEM,IT IS RECOMMENDED TWAT THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES BE USED. <br /> THIS APPLIES IF IT IS A NEW SYSTEM THAT HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR SOME TIME OR MAY HAVE BECOME CONTAMINATED. <br /> (1) PREPARE A CHLORINE SOLUTION USING ONE GALLON OF WATER AND <br /> 1/4 CUP OF CLOROX OR PURE HOUSEHOLD BLEACH (5%SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE SOLUTION). WITH THE TANK EMPTY, POUR CHLORINE SOLUTION INTO THE TANK. USE ONE GALLON OF SOLUTION FOR EVERY 15 GALLONS OF TANK CAPACITY. <br /> (2) COMPLETE FILLING OF THE TANK WITH FRESH WATER. OPEN EACH FAUCET AND DRAIN COCK UNTIL ALL AIR HAS BEEN RELEASED AND THE ENTIRE SYSTEM IS FILLED. <br /> (3)ALLOW STANDING FOR THREE HOURS. <br /> C (4) DRAIN AND FLUSH WITH POTABLE WATER(IMPORTANT) C <br /> (5)TO REMOVE EXCESS CHLORINE TASTE OR ODOR WHICH MIGHT REMAIN, PREPARE A SOLUTION OF ONE-QUART VINEGAR TO FIVE GALLONS OF WATER AND ALLOW THIS SOLUTION TO AGITATE IN THE TANK FOR SEVERAL DAYS BY VEHICLE MOTION. <br /> (6) DRAIN THE TANK AND AGAIN FLUSH WITH POTABLE WATER(IMPORTANT) <br /> THE ABOVE RECOMMENDATIONS CONFORM TO SECTION 10.8 IN THE A 119.2 CODE COVERING A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE'S ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING,AND HEATING.THE SOLUTION IS APPROVED AND RECOMMENDED BY COMPETENT HEALTH OFFICIALS. <br /> HTTPS://RONCO-PLASTICS.COM/SANITATION-INFO/<httgs://ronco-plastics.com/sanitation-info/> <br /> NOTE 4: FRESHWATER TANK CLEANING GUIDELINE <br /> 1-THE CUSTOMER WILL PUMP THE SANITATION CHEMICAL TO THE FRESHWATER TANK. <br /> -CUSTOMER WILL USE THE FOLLOWING METHOD TO DETERMINE THE ORDINARY HOUSEHOLD BLEACH NEEDED TO SANITIZE THE TANK. <br /> BY FOLLOWING THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AS PRINTED ON THE LABEL OF THE BLEACH CONTAINER CUSTOMER WILL USE THE AMOUNT OF SANITIZER TO CLEAN THE POTABLE TANK. <br /> A) BY MULTIPLYING TANK GALLON CAPACITY BY 0.13,A 30-GALLON FRESH WATER TANK INSTALLED IN THIS MOBILE UNIT WILL RESULT IN 0.13 X 30=3.9 OUNCES OF BLEACH. <br /> B B)CUSTOMERS WILL MIX THE 3.9-OUNCE BLEACH WITH WATER IN A POURABLE CONTAINER LIKE A GALLON JUG. IF THE TANK IS FILLED THROUGH A PRESSURIZED FITTING,CAREFULLY WILL BE POURED THE BLEACH INTO THE HOSE BEFORE ATTACHING THE B <br /> HOSE TO THE CITY WATER ENTRY. <br /> C)WARNING: CUSTOMER WILL NOT MIX BLEACH WITH AMMONIA. <br /> D)CUSTOMER WILL POUR(USING A MECHANICAL OR ELECTRIC PUMP)THE BLEACH SOLUTION INTO THE TANK AND FILL THE TANK WITH FRESH WATER. <br /> E)ALL FAUCETS WILL BE OPENED (HOT AND COLD),ALLOWING THE WATER TO RUN UNTIL THE ODOR OF BLEACH IS DETECTED. <br /> F) NOW,THE FRESHWATER SYSTEM WILL BE SAT TO LET THE DISINFECTANT WORK.THE FRESHWATER SYSTEM WILL HAVE FOUR(4) HOURS OF CONTACT TIME TO DISINFECT THOROUGHLY. <br /> G) BY DOUBLING THE SOLUTION CONCENTRATION ALLOWS FOR A SHORTER CONTACT TIME OF ONE(1) HOUR. <br /> H)WHEN THE CONTACT TIME IS COMPLETED,THE CUSTOMER WILL DRAIN THE TANK AND REFILL THE TANK AND FLUSH THE FRESHWATER SYSTEM ONCE OR TWICE UNTIL THE BLEACH ODOR HAS DECREASED.THE RESIDUAL BLEACH ODOR AND TASTE ARE NOT <br /> HARMFUL IF THE CORRECT CONCENTRATION FOR THE TANK SIZE IS USED AS DIRECTED. <br /> PROPRIETARY AND CONFIDENTIAL GREEN VALLEY <br /> THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS CAD DESIGN <br /> DRAWING IS THE SOLE PROPERTY OF <br /> HORMOZ SHAMONY.
