NWTLI NWTLI <br /> UST & AST Inspections <br /> Complete Site Compliance Testing & Upgrades <br /> Industrial Protective Linings & Coatings <br /> Fuel Polishing & Treatment <br /> FINDINGS ON 12k -gal JET A (T3 ) FRP UST : <br /> Visual test ( VT) inspection of the tank shell found no evidence of physical damage , water leakage , <br /> cracks , streaking , discoloration or other signs of struaural instability ; a visual inspection of the <br /> FRP tank gel - coat was conducted and at least 98 % was visible for inspection ; gel - coat passed <br /> hardness test and is still performing according to original design specifications . <br /> All three ( 3 ) UST were in compliance with industry standards ( National Leak Prevention <br /> Association Standard 631 Entry, Cleaning, Interior Inspection, Repair, and Lining Underground <br /> Storage Tanks; API Recommended Practice 1631 'nterior Lining and Periodic Inspection of <br /> Underground Storage Tanks) and found to be in good condition and free of any cracks , damage <br /> or de- laminations . The UST manway lids were resecrted with gasket material and bolts on the <br /> entry points of the USTs . <br /> Photographs were taken to show the overall condition of the tank and lining material , the work in <br /> progress and locations of interior openings and tank e juipment , <br /> Owners of USTs should confirm with State , local or other implementing agency on the <br /> requirements for periodic inspections . If applicable , he cathodic protection system should be <br /> maintained by a state licensed Cathodic Protection tectinician , UST system owners and operators <br /> must maintain records that demonstrate compliance wi h the requirements set forth , and be made <br /> available for inspection , by the implementing agency , <br /> NWTLI appreciates the opportunity to help your company with meeting good petroleum storage <br /> practices , <br /> Sincerely , <br /> C <br /> Brad C .
