Monitoring system functionality : Functionality of the monitoring system , including all sensors , must be verified to ensure monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of CCR Title 23 and California Health & Safety Code ( HSC ) Chapter 6 . 7 . If a cold start of the monitoring panel is performed , a copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to performing the cold start , and made available at the time of EHD inspection . Since concrete will be broken near the diesel tank , a secondary containment test must be performed on the diesel tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer' s guidelines . The facility cannot receive fuel in the diesel tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval . 6 . Any individual installing underground storage systems or components must possess , or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while work is being performed who possesses , all of the following : • One of several permissible valid , current contractor licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board ( CSLB) • A current UST Installation/ Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code Council ( ICC ) • A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer( s) of the component (s) being installed 7 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must possess , or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while work is being performed who possesses , all of the following : • One of several permissible valid , current contractor licenses issued by the CSLB • A current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the ICC • A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s ) of the component (s) being tested , or the developer of the testing equipment or test method (s) being used 8 . Individuals working under the direct supervision of a qualified UST installer or UST service technician must , at a minimum , be employed by the person with the CSLB license and possess all manufacturer certificates of training for the equipment on which they are working . 9 . The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System ( CERS ) at http : //cers . calepa . ca . gov/ and ensure all UST information is current . 10 . This permit expires 180 days from the date of approval . If an extension to the expiration date is required , a written request must be submitted to this office prior to the expiration date .
