<br />Interim Division Manager, Republic Services, Inc.: Interim Division Manager for Northern CA, Area
<br />West, 2018-Present
<br />Currently providing Area support in various roles, as needed, due to vacancies, turn-over, employee
<br />advancement, training and for managing special projects.
<br />
<br />Division Manager, Ox Mt LF – Oversaw operations at Ox Mt Landfill for nine months. Implemented
<br />leachate controls reducing operating costs by $1 million annually, including the negotiation of a new
<br />leachate disposal contract, improvements in equipment usage and updated Storm water BMPs. Exceeded
<br />revenue goals by 12% by motivating operations staff, strategic use of airspace, efficient communication
<br />with the Area Special Waste Team, and optimization of all landfill operations.
<br />
<br />Division Manager, Newby Island LF – Currently overseeing Landfill operations at Newby Island
<br />Landfill. Assisting with the Landfill, CASP, C&D and other related activities in an effort to improve
<br />safety, optimize use of existing resources, motivate staff, reduce costs, promote efficient use of airspace,
<br />develop special waste uses and increase volume opportunities. Working closely with the Environmental
<br />staff in providing effective and compliant operations and timely reporting. Resuming duties with the
<br />South Bay Odor Stakeholders Group.
<br />
<br />Special Projects, West Area
<br />Ox Mt Mining and Tunneling Project - Working with two large Companies in an effort to mine several
<br />million tons of rock currently in future airspace. The Project includes constructing a 1,000’L x 12’D
<br />tunnel from our canyon to the adjoining canyon and rock quarry. This material will be mined and
<br />transported by conveyor over a several year period producing aggregate, associated royalties and future
<br />airspace at a savings to the current EBM.

<br />Newby Island High BTU Gas Injection Project – Assisting with the development of a HBTU Plant with
<br />the capability of producing enough CNG to power Republic’s entire West Coast Fleet.

<br />World Class Landfill Inspection Programs – Currently eight years with the Program.
