Equipment access in the active composting areas shall be restricted as directed by <br />the QA/QC CONSULTANT and the OWNER. <br /> <br />1.6 WATER FOR COMPACTION AND MOISTURE CONTROL <br /> <br /> A. Water for use in compaction and dust control will be provided to the <br />EARTHWORK CONTRACTOR at Forward's well standpipe as shown on the <br />Construction Drawings. The EARTHWORK CONTRACTOR shall be <br />responsible for transport of water from well. <br /> <br />1.7 SHORING, SHEETING, BRACING, AND SLOPING <br /> <br /> A. Install and maintain shoring, sheeting, bracing, and sloping necessary to support <br />the sides of excavations, to keep and to prevent any movement that may damage <br />adjacent facilities, or endanger life and health. Install and maintain shoring, <br />sheeting, bracing, and sloping as required by OSHA and other applicable <br />governmental regulations and agencies. <br /> <br />1.8 EXCAVATION SAFETY <br />
