Place CLSM in pipe trenches as shown on the Construction Drawings. <br /> <br />3.15 SLURRY CEMENT MIXTURE AND CLSM <br /> <br /> A. Place slurry cement mixture or CLSM at the locations shown on the Construction <br />Drawings. <br /> <br /> B. The EARTHWORK CONTRACTOR shall repair or replace any materials <br />damaged during placement of the slurry cement mixture or CLSM, at the <br />EARTHWORK CONTRACTOR’s sole expense. <br /> <br />3.16 CONCRETE <br /> <br /> A. Construct concrete at the locations shown on the Construction Drawings in <br />accordance with the provisions in CalTrans Standard Specification Section 90-10, <br />Minor Concrete. <br /> <br /> B. Place reinforcing steel in Concrete Headwalls as detailed on the Construction <br />Drawings. <br /> <br />3.17 PIPE SUPPORT AND PIPE CLAMP <br /> <br /> A. Install at the locations shown on the Construction Drawings. <br /> <br />3.18 POND SAFETY LADDER <br /> <br /> A. The pond safety ladder shall be placed at the approximate locations shown on the <br />Construction Drawings. The minimum spacing between ladders shall be 50-ft. <br /> <br /> B. The pond safety ladder shall be anchored in the anchor trench using No 4 rebar to <br />aid in securing the pond safety ladder in the anchor trench. <br /> <br />3.19 SITE GRADING <br /> <br /> A. Perform all earthwork to the lines and grades as shown on the Construction <br />Drawings and/or established by the DESIGN ENGINEER. Shape, trim, and finish <br />slopes of channels to conform with the lines, grades, and cross sections shown. <br />Make slopes free of all exposed roots and stones exceeding 3-inch diameter that <br />are loose and liable to fall. Round tops of banks to circular curves, in general, not <br />less than a 6-foot radius. Rounded surfaces shall be neatly and smoothly trimmed. <br /> Neatly blend all new grading into surrounding, existing terrain, and maintain <br />current drainage patterns or modify drainage as shown on the Construction <br />Drawings. Overexcavating and backfilling to the proper grade will not be <br />acceptable. Finished site grading will be reviewed by the QA/QC <br />CONSULTANT. <br /> <br />3.20 TOLERANCES
