All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The following safety signs need to be filled in with sharpie: <br /> Address sign <br /> Hours <br /> Capacity <br /> Fill in before opening <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained.(CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole, gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified.(CBC 31208) <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Rope on life ring is deteriorating. Replace with new rope that that is as long as the width of the pool. <br /> Provide before opening. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Pool lights are not operating. Information is in file. <br /> A"No Swimming After Dark" sign is to be put up. <br /> Provide before opening. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting.
