UST SYSTEM REMOVAL REPORT
7-ELEVEN STORE NO. 17334, 4501 N. PERSHING AVENUE, STOCKTON, CA 95207
Introduction
March 3, 2023
v:\1858\active\185851132\05_report_deliv\deliverable\reports\2023_rpt_17334_ust.docx 1.3

In October 2013, Stantec Consulting Corporation (Stantec) submitted the Site Conceptual Model and the Site Closure
Report to the EHD. In December 2013, the EHD concurred with the Site Closure Report and requested a work plan
for destruction of the groundwater monitoring wells. The SJCEHD also requested the completion of a 60-day public
notification for the case closure.
In May 2014, Stantec supervised the destruction of four groundwater monitoring wells (MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, and
MW-5A/B) and two remediation wells (SPV-1 and SPV-2). Wells MW-5A/B, SPV-1, and SPV-2 were destroyed by
over-drilling and wells MW-2, MW-3, and MW-4 were destroyed by pressure grouting. In August 2014, the EHD
issued a case closure letter with No Further Action Required.
