If trucks are loaded in only one location , and must then stop at multiple locations, then <br /> the final location and only the final location shall log out the trucks and provide a manifest . <br /> 9 . 6 CONTROL OF SOIL WITH VARYING LEVELS OF CONTAMINATION <br /> All excavated soil that is not immediately loaded for export shall be stockpiled in such a way that <br /> soils with varying levels of contamination can be identified and loaded separate from each other . <br /> It is permissible to have a main stockpile for all loads with levels of contamination below action <br /> levels, and separate stockpiles for loads with levels of contamination above action levels . This <br /> makes it possible to ship the above action level loads separately, for specialized handling and <br /> disposal . <br /> 9 . 7 SMOKING <br /> Smoking is only allowable in designated areas that have been pre - approved by and where it has <br /> been deemed safe to do so . In addition , Smoking areas must be identified with proper signage , <br /> equipped with a fire extinguisher, safety ash tray and free of potential fuel sources . Some <br /> additional guidance is as follows ; <br /> • Smoking is NOT permitted onsite away from designated areas . Keep in mind that many <br /> of the project sites we conduct work at have weeds, dead grass, trash and other items <br /> which could be a potential fuel source . <br /> • ICS Equipment Operators are NOT permitted to smoke while operating machines, during <br /> refueling and inside the cab . This policy applies to our subcontractors as well . For <br /> example , subcontracted truck drivers who wish to smoke must wait until they' ve <br /> departed the project site before lighting their cigarette . <br /> • This policy also applies to electronic cigarettes and vaporizers . <br /> • Smoking in company vehicles is NOT permitted . <br /> 61 <br />
