Provide a statement to the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br />This is (Minor) Violation. <br />CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2) 3030030 - Maintains and operates the facility to minimize the possibility of <br />fire/explosion/release. <br />OBSERVATION: Staining and loose absorbents are observed on the floor of the hazardous material/waste storage <br />area. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean the stains and absorbents. Manage the waste according to Title 22 <br />California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br />This is (Minor) Violation. <br /> 53 <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by 7/22/2024. <br />To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead of <br />having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at the EHD hourly rate <br />($162).
