All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free Chlorine at 0.0ppm, then adjusted to over 25 ppm. Provide free chlorine between 3.0 and 10.0 <br />ppm. Observed sign posted. This is a repeat violation. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br />ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: No name and address posted on emergency sign. Post. This is a repeat violation. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: pH was over 8. Maintain pH between 7.2 and 8.0. Corrected to 7.8 <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin. (CCR 65531) <br />#17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: Spa dirty with vegetation on top and bottom of spa. Clean. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to <br />accumulate in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool <br />surfaces clean and free of slime and algae.
