Appendix A-Sampling and Analysis Plan BSK Project E19-016-01F <br /> Stockton Metropolitan Airport(SCK) March 1, 2023 <br /> Stockton, California Page 3 <br /> Materials allowed include: <br /> • Well-laundered synthetic or 100% cotton clothing with the most recent launderings not using <br /> fabric softeners <br /> • Waterproof clothing made of or with polyurethane, PVC,wax-coated fabrics, rubber, neoprene <br /> • Boots made of polyurethane and/or PVC. If the Site requires a specifictype of boot(such as steel- <br /> toed),and PFAS-free over-boots may be worn. The over-boots must be put on,and hands washed <br /> after donning the over-boots before sampling activities. Over-boots can only be removed away <br /> from and after sampling activities are completed. <br /> • Sunscreen and insect repellents should be applied away from the sampling area. <br /> Prohibited materials include but not limited to: <br /> • Water/stain/dirt-resistant treated clothing(including Gore-Tex'"", ScotchgardTM, RUCO®, etc.) <br /> • New unwashed clothing <br /> • Clothes recently washed with fabric softeners <br /> • Clothes chemically treated for insect resistance and ultraviolet protection <br /> • Coated Tyvek® <br /> • Latex gloves. <br /> Often-used and industry standard personal protection equipment items such as hard hats, safety glasses, <br /> and Tyvek° have not been completely evaluated. If use of these items is required, safety data sheets <br /> should be reviewed and/or equipment blanks should be collected and analyzed prior to use in the <br /> potential release area (PRA). <br /> 3.2 Sun and Biological Protection <br /> Prolonged sun exposure will require sunscreen,which may include PFAS in their manufacture. Protection <br /> against insects may require the use of insect repellants. The list below includes sunscreens and insect <br /> repellants that have been found to be PFAS-free; however, there is no guarantee that these products will <br /> always remain PFAS-free. <br /> • Allowable Insect Repellants: <br /> o OFF Deep Woods <br /> o Sawyer Permethrin <br /> o Jason Natural Quit Bugging Me <br /> o Repel Lemon Eucalyptus Insect repellant <br /> o Herbal Armor <br /> o California Baby Natural Bug Spray <br /> Ek� <br /> /.. <qA. <br />
