Geosyntec <br /> cm tsn plants <br /> wells.Using direct-push injections will allow generally higher injection pressures which will allow <br /> for greater distribution of the injection solution. Direct-push injections also allow oxidant delivery <br /> to be completed in an adaptive manner with operating parameters(injection grid spacing, injection <br /> volume, flow rates and pressures) that may be readily adjusted in response to field observations <br /> such as water levels and visual observation (change in color due to arrival of Kmn04 solution) at <br /> nearby wells. <br /> As discussed in Section 3.1, KMn04 has been shown to be effective for remediation of COCs at <br /> the Site. During the design of the ISCO recirculation system, Geosyntec evaluated the solubility <br /> of KmnOa in site water which was determined to be approximately 10 grams per liter(g/L)or 1% <br /> To ensure that the KMnO4 is completely soluble to facilitate injection and distribution within the <br /> aquifer, Geosyntec proposes to use a 10 g/L,solution for the proposed scope of work. <br /> Fenner Source Area Injection Work Plan 7 August 08,2019 <br />
