Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan <br />The Home Depot Store #5857 <br />1 Introduction and Site Information <br />This Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan (Plan) has been established for The Home Depot U.S.A., Inc.'s (The <br />Home Depot's) Direct Fulfilment Center #5857 (DFC #5857; Site), located at 5395 Hopkins Rd., Tracy, CA 95377 <br />(see Figure 1). <br />The Site is a distribution center for rapid deployment of products to store locations. A variety of consumer <br />products are received at the Site and temporarily stored within the building prior to being distributed to local and <br />regional stores. The Site also has a maintenance shop to support minor building maintenance activities. The Site <br />consists of a single 726,182 -square foot warehouse, surrounded by paved parking areas for automotive and truck <br />trailer parking, and some landscaped areas. <br />The Site is considered a large quantity generator (LQG) of hazardous waste and maintains US EPA ID No. <br />CAR000308726. A variety of consumer products, including paints, cleaners, solvents and petroleum products are <br />stored at the distribution center. Wastes are typically generated when products are damaged or spilled. <br />3 <br />
