V. Prepare body area for tattoo by washing with green soap VI. Apply stencil transfer to tattoo area then position tattoo pattern 2. Set-Up: I. Put on clean gloves II. Gather supplies: • Protective bags • Sticks • Solution bottles • Ink pigment • Paper towels • 2 bibs • Grip tape • Razor • Tattoo Machine • Needles • Ointment • Water cup III. Put on clean gloves IV. Plastic wrap procedure workstation tray • Spray tray with water and place plastic wrap on tray • Place bib over plastic wrap and tray V. Wrap tattoo machine and cord clip with protective sleeve. Place tattoo machine on workstation tray VI. Add needles, razors, paper towels to work station tray VI I. Cover solution bottles with protective sleeves and place them on workstation tray VIII. Set-up ink pigments caps IX. Set-up distilled water cups if needed X. Set up clean bib on storage counter to be used for tear down XI. Put on clean gloves XII. Plastic wrap any armrests or headrests and parts of chair if needed XIII. Put on clean gloves to begin procedure. 3. Tear-Down I. Once the procedure is completed, immediately remove the needle and dispose into sharps container Il. Remove protective covering from tattoo machine and place tattoo machine on clean bib III. Remove protective covering from solution bottles and place bottles on clean bib IV. Pour out any left over distilled water into the sink V. Carefully ball up all items into bib VI. Carefully ball bib and plastic wrap. Be sure to not touch the procedure tray when removing plastic wrap to avoid any cross contamination VI I. Dispose into trash receptacle along with gloves VIII. Put on clean gloves IX. Thoroughly wipe solution bottles with disinfectant cleaner X. Spray workstation procedure tray with MadaCide or CaviCide. Let sit for 6 minutes to disinfect Page 4 of 12
