SAP/QAPP Addendum <br /> Lodi-125 N Stockton <br /> Final <br /> March 24,2025 <br /> Uniform Federal Policy for Implementing Environmental Quality Systems: Evaluating,Assessing, <br /> and Documenting Environmental Data Collection/Use and Technology Programs.Final,Version 2 <br /> (IDQTF 2005b). <br /> This SAP/QAPP Addendum describes planned data-gathering activities during the TBA;however,Site <br /> conditions and additional EPA direction may warrant modifications.All significant changes will be <br /> documented in the Phase II ESA TBA Report. If problems are encountered or additional characterization of <br /> the Site is warranted,an addendum to this SAP/QAPP Addendum may be prepared to document findings <br /> and provide recommendations for additional Site characterization. <br /> 1.1 Site History <br /> The Site hosts an unoccupied office building,an equipment repair shop,a covered equipment storage area, <br /> and paved parking areas.The Site was historically used as a manufactured gas plant (MGP) in the late 1800s <br /> and early 1900s. Gas manufacturing began in Lodi in approximately 1891 when a small MGP began <br /> operations at the Site.The plant was located next to the Lodi Water Works near the center of the block <br /> bounded by Main,Locust,Elm,and Stockton Streets.The plant operated until approximately 1908 when <br /> production ceased.The City of Lodi acquired the property in 1936. <br /> 1.2 Site Name <br /> The Site is referred to as Lodi-125 N Stockton,and is assigned San Joaquin County Assessor's Parcel <br /> Number 043-084-130. <br /> 1.3 Site Location and Description <br /> The Site is located at 125 North Stockton Street in San Joaquin County,Lodi,California(Figure 1).The Site <br /> consists of a former MGP occupying approximately 1.2 acres in a mixed commercial/residential area.The <br /> Site is used by the City of Lodi Parks and Recreation Department and currently contains an unoccupied office <br /> building,an equipment repair shop,a covered equipment storage area,and paved parking areas.The Site is <br /> bounded by residential properties to the north,commercial properties to the south,recreational land to the <br /> east,and municipal properties to the west. <br /> The U.S. Geological Survey(USGS) 7.5-minute series Lodi North topographic quadrangle maps (USGS <br /> 2012) depict the Site. Coordinates at the approximate center of the Site are 38.1360710 degrees north latitude <br /> and-121.2699060'degrees west longitude. <br /> 2 <br />
