Sampling and Analysis Plan for Phase II Environmental Site Assessment <br /> 125 North Stockton Street, Lodi,CA 95240 <br /> 2.2.5 Step 5 - Analytical Approach <br /> Soil samples will be analyzed for a selection of the following COPCs by the associated methods: <br /> PAHs by EPA Method 8270; arsenic and lead by EPA Method 601013; asbestos by EPA Method 600; <br /> VOCs and Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) by EPA Method 8260B with 5035 <br /> preservation method; and Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons in the diesel and oil ranges (TPHd,TPHo) <br /> by EPA Method 8015. Soil vapor samples will be analyzed for VOCs and gasoline range <br /> hydrocarbons by USEPA Method TO-15,and for helium by ASTM D-1946.Validated laboratory data <br /> from soil and soil vapor samples will be compared to residential and commercial screening levels <br /> (SLs)/regional screening levels (RSLs) established by DTSC and US EPA. <br /> '.2.6 Stan 6 — Data Ounlity Obiectives Analvsis <br /> Investigation locations are biased based on proximity to potential contamination source(s), ease <br /> of access, and professional judgment. <br /> Measurement error, rather than sampling error, is deemed the primary factor affecting any <br /> decision error.Validated definitive data will be required to limit measurement error.Sampling error <br /> will be limited to the extent practicable by adhering to approved EPA methods and the following <br /> applicable standard operating procedures (SOPS) contained in Appendix D of the Master QAPP <br /> (Stantec, 2021). <br /> Stantec <br /> SOP ID SOP Description <br /> SOP-01 Volatile Organic Compound Field Screening for Soil and Sediment <br /> SOP-02 Soil Sample Collection <br /> SOP-07 Chain of Custody, Sample Control, and Field Documentation Procedures <br /> SOP-08 Equipment Decontamination <br /> SOP-09 Calibration, Maintenance, and Operation of Field Equipment <br /> SOP-10 Management of Investigative Wastes <br /> SOP-11 Vapor Sample Collection <br /> In addition, the following investigative and assessment procedures will be followed. <br /> • The investigation will apply standard sample collection and test methods and established <br /> laboratory performance criteria. <br /> • Laboratory data will be reviewed to ensure they are of sufficient quality to support decision <br /> making. <br /> • Analytical results will be screened against applicable screening criteria to identify potential <br /> threats to human health. <br /> Stantec 8 <br />
