ENVIRONMENTAL SETTING Eight regional parks, one recreational facility, and Micke Grove Zoo are located in San Joaquin County. There are two parks within ten miles of the project site, in addition to other recreational facilities located throughout San Joaquin County. However, none are within the immediate vicinity of the project site. DISCUSSION OF IMPACTS a, b) Increase the use of existing neighborhood and regional parks or other recreational facilities such that substantial physical deterioration of the facility would occur or be accelerated? Include recreational facilities or require the construction or expansion of recreational facilities which might have an adverse physical effect on the environment? No Impact The proposed project would not restrict the use of any regional parks or other recreational facilities. The project would not induce population growth by creating new homes or expanding the capacity of other infrastructure and thus would not require the construction or expansion of recreational facilities. No impact would occur.
