GeosMte&
consultants
1. INTRODUCTION
This Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) provides a standard reference for the
sampling and analysis activities described in the Groundwater Monitoring Work Plan
(Work Plan) for Rough and Ready Island, Port of Stockton, located in Stockton,
California (the Site). This QAPP replaces the QAPP included in the 2024 Groundwater
Monitoring Work Plan (2024 QAPP; Geosyntec, 2024) and encompasses the methods
and procedures described in the 2024 QAPP.
This QAPP describes the quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC) specifications for
assuring the reliability of monitoring and measurement data for Site data collection and
analyses. The procedures outlined in this QAPP govern the acquisition of environmental
samples and the reporting of data, sampling, sample handling and chain of custody
protocols, laboratory and field analyses, field documentation, data reporting, quality
auditing, corrective action processes, and the data handling and management of records.
This QAPP addresses the elements described in the Requirement for Quality Assurance
Project Plans (United States Environmental Protection Agency [U.S. EPA], 2001a).
Quality Assurance Project Plan 1 30 April 2025
