PROJECT ORGANIZATION <br /> This section identifies the individuals and organizations participating in the project and <br /> discusses their specific roles and responsibilities. The participants include the data <br /> generators,principal data users, decision makers,project managers, and other individuals <br /> responsible for the implementation of the QAPP. This section provides an overall <br /> approach to managing the work and describes the responsibilities of management <br /> personnel, quality assurance personnel, and site investigation personnel. <br /> 2.1 Project Management Responsibilities <br /> Project management responsibilities, as they relate to quality assurance (QA)/quality <br /> control (QC) issues, are critical to the overall success of the QAPP implementation. The <br /> following sections identify the key members of the Port of Stockton, and its consultants <br /> and contractors, and summarize the descriptions of their QA/QC responsibilities for this <br /> project. <br /> 2.2 Port of Stockton <br /> Port of Stockton is responsible for overseeing the work and has the authority to commit <br /> the resources necessary to meet project objectives and requirements. <br /> 2.3 Proi ect Manager <br /> Port of Stockton will work with the Project Manager who is responsible for implementing <br /> the work to achieve the project objectives. The Project Manager is responsible for <br /> reviewing the technical aspects of the project to align the work elements to meet the <br /> project objectives and technical standards and coordinate the tasks so that the tasks are <br /> completed in accordance with the QAPP. The Project Manager is also responsible for the <br /> scope, cost, and technical considerations related to the project; staff, and project <br /> coordination; and implementation of review of overall project quality related to the <br /> collection, completeness, and presentation of data. The Project Manager oversees the <br /> technical work conducted by the Field Task Leader, quality assurance activities <br /> coordinated by the Project QA Manager, and health and safety activities coordinated by <br /> the Project Health and Safety (H&S) Manager as specified in the site Health and Safety <br /> Plan (HASP). <br /> Quality Assurance Project Plan 2 30 April 2025 <br />
