Sump shall be equipped with an automatic pump, flow meter, and recording device, allowing instantaneous measurement of rate and volumes removed. High and low liquid level sensors and associated alarms shall also be included in design. 2. 8 oz/yd2 non-woven fabric. 3. Design shall include appropriately-sized HDPE riser pipes for leachate monitoring and removal. Class II Surface Impoundment 5. Except as authorized in Section D.6, the Discharger shall not commence liner construction (other than preparatory earthmoving and grading) until the Central Valley Water Board has approved in writing all necessary construction plans, specifications, and construction quality assurance (CQA) plans related to the new liner(s). 6. Base liners and slope liners for a new Class II surface impoundment listed in Finding 114 and Section B.9 shall be constructed according to specifications in Attachment H.
