Springs <br /> There are no springs on the property. <br /> <br />4.10.3. Groundwater Quality <br />Background groundwater quality in the uppermost aquifer at the site is relatively good including <br />total dissolved solids (TDS) at about 210 mg/L, electrical conductivity at about 270 mg/L, <br />chloride at about 6 mg/L, sulfate at about 8 mg/L, and bicarbonate alkalinity at about 140 mg/L <br />(2015 WDR). <br /> <br />4.10.4. Groundwater Use <br />Groundwater use on and surrounding the property is agricultural, domestic supply, and <br />groundwater monitoring. <br /> <br />Eight wells were identified within 1 mile of the landfill site. The screened sections of these wells <br />vary between bottom depths of 255 feet to as deep as 467 feet (Appendix H). One off-site well <br />appears to be down gradient, west-southwest of the site (review of California Department of <br />Water Resources files reported in “Report of Waste Discharge Related to the Permitting and <br />Installation of Composite Landfill Liner System for Module 1 and Future Modules”, Emcon, <br />2002; and by Kleinfelder Inc, August 2004). <br /> <br />There are eight (8) wells on the property. These include a domestic well and seven (7) <br />groundwater monitoring wells. <br /> <br />4.11. Ancillary and Other Site Facilities <br />The ancillary facilities associated with the landfill (Figure 2) are: <br /> <br />Scale house <br />Perimeter and internal access roads <br />Maintenance building <br />On-site residential structures <br />Employee lunchroom trailer and portable restroom
