Inert <br />materials, such as construction and demolition debris, are diverted to beneficial use. Other <br />materials salvaged include tires, display screens, appliances and white goods. <br /> <br />The Operator provides the County with records of the quantities of recycled and salvaged <br />materials (Table 2). Scavenging is not allowed at the site. <br /> <br />6.4.3. Volume Reduction <br />Volume reduction at the site is accomplished by compaction of the waste at the active face. <br />Most waste received is from the transfer stations, where significant volume reduction has <br />already occurred. <br /> <br />6.4.4. Dewatered Sludge <br />Dewatered sludge will be delivered to the site at designated times to avoid peak hours and to <br />facilitate staging operations. The sludge will be deposited at a designated area, within the lined <br />modules, near the active face, and outside and away from the public drop-off area. Spotters will <br />ensure that the public do not inadvertently approach the sludge stockpile area. <br /> <br />6.5. Equipment <br /> <br />The following equipment is present onsite at the current time (May 2020): <br />Three Landfill Compactors <br />One Earth Scrapers <br />Two Ripper Dozers <br />One Backhoe Loader <br />One 2,000 Gallon Water Truck <br /> <br />The minimum equipment needed for operation of the facility consists of: <br />One Compactor <br />One Scraper <br />One Dozer <br />One Water Truck <br />
