Supplemental analyses are conducted every 5
years, with the next 5-year analyses planned for third quarter 2028.
2.3.2 Quarterly Results
Analytical results for the third quarter 2025 surface water monitoring are provided in Table 6. No discharges from
the Site into the adjacent creeks were observed during third quarter 2025.
Monitoring points ASW-1 and ASW-2 were sampled during third quarter 2025. Surface water samples could not
be collected from monitoring points FSW-1 or FSW-2 during third quarter 2025 as the south fork of Little John’s
Creek was dry during the initial monitoring and throughout third quarter 2025. Cumulative data for the four surface
water monitoring points for the past year (third quarter 2024 through third quarter 2025) are included in Appendix
D.
3 Corrective Action Monitoring Program
This section describes corrective action monitoring conducted during third quarter 2025 and provides the
associated monitoring results. Corrective action monitoring is conducted in accordance with MRP Section C
(RWQCB 2024).
3.1 Groundwater Corrective Action
Supplemental monitoring of select wells and leachate sumps is required by Water Code Section 13267 Order for
Technical Reports Regarding Acceptance of Hazardous Waste, Forward Landfill, San Joaquin County (RWQCB
2017b).
As required by MRP Section C.1 and Table 17 (RWQCB 2024), leachate sumps are analyzed for dissolved
inorganic constituents and metals semiannually in first and third quarters.
As required by MRP Section D.1.e (RWQCB 2024), the supplemental groundwater monitoring also includes
quarterly analysis of dissolved inorganic constituents and metals at monitoring wells AMW-1, AMW-2, AMW-4,
and AMW-7. The results of these supplemental analyses for third quarter 2025 are presented in Table 7.
