2
and upgradient program monitoring well MW-14A.
Exceedances of concentration limits are addressed by the ongoing Corrective Action Program that includes a landfill
gas extraction system, a groundwater extraction and treatment system, and ongoing monitoring. Under the existing
Corrective Action Program, the groundwater treatment system pumped approximately 43.9 million gallons of
groundwater during third quarter 2025, removing approximately 0.57 pounds of VOCs.
Deviations from the MRP and Proposed Corrective Actions
Below is a summary of deviations from the MRP in third quarter 2025 and proposed corrective actions:
x Domestic well DW-9690 is included in Table 1 of the MRP and presented on Figure 1 of the enclosed report;
however, this well was reportedly abandoned in fourth quarter 2022 when the corresponding domestic
residence was destroyed. Because the well was thought to be abandoned, data were last collected on
August 5, 2022. Domestic well DW-9690 was located during a site inspection on April 4, 2025. The well was
inspected in second quarter 2025 and will need repairs prior to sampling.
Proposed Additions to the MRP
The following locations are not currently part of the MRP and will need to be incorporated in the next revision of the
MRP:
x Two pan lysimeters and sumps (pan lysimeters TS-1 and TS-2 and sumps TS-1 and TS-2) associated with
WMU FU-23 are shown on Figure 4 of the enclosed report. Sumps TS-1 (FU-23) and TS-2 (FU-23) were added
to the quarterly monitoring program in fourth quarter 2024 and pan lysimeters TS-1 (FU-23) and TS-2(FU-
23) were added to the quarterly monitoring program in second quarter 2025. These locations should be
added to Tables 6 and 25 of the MRP in the next revision.
x Two pan lysimeters and sumps (pan lysimeters TS-3 and TS-4 and sumps TS-3 and TS-4) associated with
WMU FU-24 are shown on Figure 4 of the enclosed report. Sumps TS-3 (FU-24) and TS-4 (FU-24) were added
to the quarterly monitoring program in fourth quarter 2024 and pan lysimeters TS-3 (FU-24) and TS-4 (FU-
24) were added to the quarterly monitoring program in second quarter 2025. These locations should be
added to Tables 6 and 25 of the MRP in the next revision.
x Four additional groundwater extraction wells CDCR-EW-2 through CDCR-EW-5, as shown on Figure 6 of the
enclosed report, were installed on the CDCR property after the issuance of the MRP. These locations were
added to the quarterly monitoring program beginning in second quarter 2025 and should be included in
Table 19 of the MRP in the next revision.
x Pan lysimeters FU-19E and FU-19W were added to the quarterly monitoring program in second quarter
2025 and the locations should be included in Table 6 of the MRP in the next revision.
Certification Statement
I certify under penalty of law that I have personally examined and am familiar with the information submitted in this
document and all attachments, and that based on my inquiry of those individuals immediately responsible for
obtaining this information, I believe that the information is true, accurate, and complete.
