27 August 2025 AdvancedGeo
Project No. 25-8011 An Employee—Owned Company
Page 7 of 14 Q,%a X
holes are shown in Figure 2, with detailed field data provided in Appendix D.
6.1. NUMBER OF PERCOLATION TESTS PERFORMED
Two shallow percolation tests were performed at the site. The first test (14 August 2025)
failed due to infiltration occurring too rapidly. The second test (22 August 2025) was
relocated further south on the property and yielded an acceptable percolation rate.
6.2. CONSTRUCTION OF PERCOLATION TEST HOLE
First Test (13-14 August 2025): A4-inch diameter hand auger was used to advance the
borehole to 42 inches bsg. After pre-soaking, the test was performed on 14 August 2025.
The borehole drained too rapidly, resulting in a failed test.
Second Test (21-22 August 2025): A second borehole was advanced approximately 20
feet south of the first location to a depth of 42 inches bsg. A 2-inch PVC slotted casing
was installed with gravel backfill. After 24-hour pre-soak, the percolation test was
successfully completed on 22 August 2025.
6.3. DESCRIPTION OF THE PERCOLATION TEST HOLE - POST SOAK
During the August 2025 tests, the boreholes were found to be completely dry, intact and
in good condition after the 24-hour soaking period.
6.4. PERCOLATION TEST CONFORMED TO SJC POLICY EHD 98-02
Testing followed the requirements of San Joaquin County Division 11, Section
91105.2(d). For the successful test on 22 August, Procedure #2 was attempted first but
failed due to rapid infiltration. Procedure #3 was then conducted, involving water level
measurements at 10-minute intervals over one hour. Water levels were measured with
a Solinst water level meter from a fixed reference point at the top of the casing. Results
were confirmed by the EHD inspector.
6.5. COMPLETED PERCOLATION TEST FORM
After completion of the test, the EHD inspector reviewed the field data and signed the
required EHD Percolation Test Rate form. Field measurements recorded during the test
are included on the Percolation Test Rate Field Sheet provided in Appendix D.
6.6. POTENTIAL PROBLEMS PREDICTED
