Sampling Results Sampling results from dfrect feading instruments will be evaluated by a trained safety staff member. The safety member will develop an exposure estimate based on the results and the typical exposure time and determine the need for further work shift monitoring. The result from exposure estimates and actual work shift personal monitoring will, at a rninimurn, be compared to Cal-OSHA permissible exposure limits (PELs) to determine regulatory compliance. Results will also be compared to more restrictive standards, such as the ACGIH threshold limit values(TL s) as a best practice. All sampling results will be documented using field notes, sampling forms, laboratory reports, and/or electronic databases.
