Any contractor not adhering to these req uirernenIts will be asked to leave the pre rnises <br /> 4.0 General Requirements <br /> 4,1 Hazard Assessment of Routine Jobs, Tasks, and Processes <br /> 4.11 The first step of developing and implementing a PPE program is to identify physical and health <br /> hazards in the workp[ace. This process is known as a "hazard assessment_" A Job Safety Analysis <br /> (J A). i5 conducted for each job witiiin Cintas to evaluate, analyze, and identify safety and health <br /> hazafds associated with routine tasks, jobs. processes, and work processes which are also <br /> reviewed by the corporate safety team. ldentifrcation of hazards include the fallowing basic hazard <br /> categories but not limited to: impact, penetration, compression (pinch points), chemical, heat, <br /> harmful dusts, radiant energy, and infectious agentslblood <br /> 4.1,2 Additionally, task-specific safety analyses are conducted, especially when historical injury data <br /> indicates a risk, on an as needed basis. The Task-Based JSA JBJ A) should be developed using <br /> a systematic team approach based on observing the existing work environment, tools and <br /> equipment utilized processes and hazafds. The team will thea brainstorm using their knowledge of <br /> the hierarchy of hazard control process to determine if and what PPE should be used <br /> 4.1.3 The input of the front-line partner is critical to these analyses because they are the experts an these <br /> jobs and tasks The JSA!s are reviewed and updated annually. In addition, if a unique situation (i.e. <br /> local request far different PPE) or job function arises, the JSKs can be revised by the Inca[ Safety& <br /> Improvement Committee. <br /> 4.1.4 Jobs and tasks to be analyzed are prioritized based on historical evidence as identified through <br /> trend analyses. percewed risks, and the complexity and frequency of the tasks and jobs within our <br /> operation. We seek out the input of our front-line employee-pattnefs in identifying and prioritizing the <br /> meed for these analyses.
