subject to the requirements of Section 22-66264.193 of Title 26 of the California <br /> Code of Regulations. <br /> The sludge collected from the washing process is managed in accordance with <br /> this chapter. <br /> The facility has a training program in place that ensures that the facility personnel <br /> are able to safely and properly handle and clean the reusable soiled textile <br /> materials and to respond effectively to emergencies by familiarizing them with <br /> emergency procedures, equipment, and systems. <br /> The facility is in compliance with requirements of paragraphs (2) to (6) inclusive <br /> and paragraphs (8) and (10) of subdivision (d) of Section of 25201.5 of the <br /> California Health and Safety Code. <br /> For questions specific to this information, refer to the specific sections of the California <br /> Health and Safety. <br /> The Stockton facility operations consist of laundering various reusable textile items that <br /> are utilized at customer locations. The soiled merchandise is returned to our facility for <br /> proper handling and processing. Soiled merchandise must be handled in accordance <br /> with the procedures contained in the guidance document. <br /> In the event of an emergency with the handling of soiled textiles, our spill plan should be <br /> consulted for the proper response, mitigation and clean-up. This is for onsite or offsite <br /> emergencies. Contact the Vestis environmental department if you have any questions. <br /> Soiled textiles are laundered utilizing conventional detergents and similar chemicals to <br /> ensure proper cleaning. A computerized chemical injection system is utilized for the <br /> dosing of the proper chemicals for each specific wash formula. Management personnel <br /> should be consulted in the event of a wash formula malfunction to ensure reusable <br /> textiles are always handled in accordance with the proper formula procedure. <br /> The washwater generated from the cleaning of reusable textiles is conveyed through a <br /> trench, pipe or similar conduit to several holding basins. The facility evaluates the <br /> condition of this equipment twice per year to ensure wash water is not leaking into <br /> underlying soil. <br /> The facility utilizes a wastewater pretreatment system to treat the respective washwater <br /> prior to discharge to the sanitary sewer. The facility is permitted by the City of Stockton <br /> and must comply with the respective discharge limitations. <br /> The waste sludge generated from the treatment process is dewatered and the resulting <br /> filter cake material is disposed in accordance with applicable regulations. <br />
