HEALING PROCESS PHASES: <br />The healing process takes 6-10 weeks. This varies per client depending on age, <br />skin type and immune system. The final result of your new permanent cosmetic <br />tattoo will appear after 30 days. It is completely normal for the initial session <br />healed result heal, light, patchy, uneven. This is why permanent makeup is <br />typically a multi session service because touch ups are needed to finalize the <br />results. <br /> <br />Day 1-5 <br />Pigment will appear darker and bolder. Swelling and redness will subside after <br />about 48 hours. Itching may occur and is normal. <br /> <br />Day 5-10 <br /> <br />Your new tattoo will begin to flake or peel in random areas. This peeling should <br />be similar to that of a sunburn peeling. DO NOT TOUCH, PICK, SCRATCH, or PULL <br />off the peeling. Let the areas flake off naturally. Picking at the site will remove <br />pigment, cause scarring and/or infection. <br /> <br />Day 10-15 <br /> <br />Your tattoo should be finishing up the peeling process. Underneath the peeling it <br />may seem like the pigment is very light, that there is no pigment at all, or its <br />patchy. This is normal and the color will continue to make it way from the lower <br />layers of your skin back to the surface layers as time passes. Rest assured that the <br />pigment will reappear as the skin cells turn over and regenerate naturally. <br /> <br />Day 15-40 <br /> <br />Skin cells are still turning over and regenerating. The color is slowly pushing its <br />way back up to the surface layers of the skin and by day 40 you will see how much <br />pigment has stayed and how well your skin has healed. <br /> <br /> <br />TOUCH UP: <br />Touch up sessions are done 6-12 weeks after the initial session.
