Any information demonstrating compliance with the small community <br />exemption as required by 40 CFR Section 258.1(f)(2). This does not <br />apply to Foothill landfill. <br /> <br />San Joaquin County Solid Waste Division will inform the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD/LEA) when the documents listed in this section are <br />placed in or added to the operating record by submitting a copy of the document. <br /> <br />6.1.4. Site Security and Access <br /> <br />Foothill Landfill is secured by a barbed wire perimeter fence and a main entrance/exit <br />gate located on the west side of the Landfill (Figure 2). The main gate is locked during non- <br />operating hours. During operating hours, public are not allowed to go beyond waste disposal <br />areas. Site personnel continuously monitor activities of the public on site and report any <br />security breaches to the site superintendent. The flare station and leachate tank are fenced to <br />prevent unauthorized access. <br /> <br />6.1.5. Sanitary Facilities <br />A permanent restroom is located in the office. Wastewater from the permanent restroom <br />is discharged into on-site septic fields. At least one portable toilet is located near the entrance, <br />for use by employees, contractors, and the general public. This toilet is serviced by a private <br />contractor. <br /> <br />6.1.6. Potable Water Supply <br />The on-site water well (LW-1) supplies potable water to the office as well as water for <br />dust control and other site use (Figure 2). Bottled water is supplied to the scale house. <br />Additional bottles of water are located outside of the scale house for use by the site employees <br />and the general public. <br /> <br />6.1.7.
