Must possess a <br />valid CA Class B driver’s license. <br /> <br />x Equipment Operator II – Performs skilled work in the operation of public works heavy <br />road construction, maintenance and disposal site equipment; may act as lead worker <br />over other employees, and does related or other work. Minimum qualifications include <br />either two years as an Equipment Operator I or bridge maintenance worker in San <br />Joaquin County service or four years of paid work experience in the operation and <br />maintenance of heavy road construction equipment. <br /> <br />x Cashier Clerk – Receives, disburses, counts and balances cash and other negotiable <br />instruments. Cashier Clerks must have two years of responsible clerical work, one year <br />of which must have included the counting, receiving, and disbursing of cash. <br /> <br />x Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Inspects, diagnoses, overhauls and makes major repairs <br />to diesel, hydraulic, construction and other similar equipment. Heavy Equipment <br />Mechanics must have four years of journeyman experience in the repair and <br />maintenance of construction equipment and heavy trucks and valid CA Class B driver’s <br />license. <br /> <br />x Equipment Service Worker III – Lubricates and services heavy road construction <br />equipment and makes minor adjustments and repairs, and maintains records of service <br />performed and projections of future service needs. Equipment Service Worker IIIs must <br />have two years full-time experience in servicing medium and heavy road construction <br />equipment and have valid CA Class B driver’s license. <br /> <br />6.1.11. Staffing <br />The minimum landfill operation staffing levels include the following: <br />x Equipment Operators – 2 <br />x Solid Waste Recovery Workers - 2 <br />x Scale house attendant – 1 <br />x Site Superintendent or designated alternate (also site safety officer) – 1
