Once we
reach a low product max, existing fuel will be pumped into the existing 87 primary tank.Tank will
be triple rinsed and water will be removed and placed into hazmat drums on site. Forced air will
be blown through the tank to remove any existing vapor and to help dry the tank. Installation of diesel product float will be added to Tank Probe. Existing vapor
poppet will be removed and capped. Fill container will be labeled and marked as a diesel product
and necessary programming of TLS will be performed for the tank to accommodate diesel as
required.
• The Healy tank and vapor lines will be relocated to desired location and vapor lines will be
re-plumbed and relocated to desired location. The 87&91 vent lines will be manifolded and the
new diesel vent line will be isolated from the gasoline grades as required by AQMD.
• The existing 87 tank then will be retrofitted and any necessary work for turbine motor and sump
repairs will be made at this time to isolate the diesel tank to be ready for full operation and fuel
delivery when required.
• Post construction pressure decay testing and secondary testing will be performed to ensure all
lines are tight. After passing results, trenches will be filled with asphalt or concrete as needed
and construction will proceed to Phase 2.
1
