Tylor McMillan's Well Service, LLC <br />SOP Well Blasting <br />1. Setup "No Cell Phone or Radio Use" signage when using Electric Initiation Systems. <br />2. Ground and Bond vehicles to a grounded source when using static discharge sensitive <br />explosive materials. <br />3. Check the site for immediate hazards around each well to be destroyed. <br />4. Tag the depth of the well to be loaded to ensure that the current depth is the same as <br />the reported depth on the Blast Plan. <br />5. Clear the area of unnecessary personnel before prepping the charge. <br />6. Open the day box and remove the products to be used. <br />7. Assemble the charge for the well. <br />8. Return extra products to the day box. <br />9. Lower the charge into the well, pay close attention to ensure the charge is set in the <br />proper place down hole. <br />10. Secure the charge at the surface. <br />11. Bring in only the personnel required to grout the well. <br />12. Begin the grouting process <br />13. Carefully monitor charge placement in the well while grouting to ensure the charge <br />doesn't float to the surface. <br />14. After grouting is complete, clear the grouting personnel from the exclusion zone. <br />15. Place containment method over well and secure. <br />16. Setup and ready the seismograph. <br />17. Clear the exclusion zone and shut down any roadways or sidewalks located within the <br />exclusion zone. <br />18. Double check the area to ensure no stragglers have entered the exclusion zone. <br />19. Sound the pre -fire signal <br />20. Issue verbal pre -fire warning and begin countdown from 5 <br />21. FIRE IN THE HOLEH Detonate charge. <br />22. Sound Post -fire signal <br />23. Check the seismograph for confirmed trigger if the charge is not physically or audibly <br />noticeable as detonated. <br />24. Remove the containment device <br />
