Martinez, Genesis [EHD]
From: Jason Sedore <jsedore@engeo.com>
Sent: Tuesday, December 6, 2022 11:32 AM
To: Wong,Jeff [EHD]
Subject: Site Mitigation Permit - Additional information for 4500 Stewart Road
Mr.Jeff Wong,
Per your request, I am submitting additional information regarding the work plan for 4500 Stewart Road in Lathrop,
California. The purpose of these wells is to reduce potential underseepage pressures from Paradise Cut to existing
drainage channel within the future River Islands development located northeast of Paradise Cut. Previous analysis and
observations indicated that water within Paradise Cut could migrate below the levee system during high-water events.
The wells are designed to passively reduce underseepage pressures during high-water events within Paradise Cut. No
active pumping will occur within the wells.
The wells will be generally aligned with the existing drainage channel as shown in Figure 2.The work area is
approximately 2,500 feet in length and will be located between the existing drainage channel and the toe of newly
constructed setback levee adjacent to the previously existing levee system. The work is being done as part of a flood
control improvements project for Reclamation District 2062 and the property developer.
ENGEOJason Sedore • Project Geologist
ENGEO Incorporated
17278 Golden Valley Parkway, Lathrop, CA 95330
CELEBRATING rJIYEARS (925)719-0822 •jsedore@engeo.com
OF ENC41NEERINQ EXCELLENCE UNITED STATES • NEW ZEALAND •AUSTRALIA • GUAM • www.engeo.com
Due to the potential that information by electronic media can deteriorate, be damaged, lost or modified unintentionally or otherwise, use of this electronic
data by anyone other than ENGEO Incorporated shall be at the sole risk of such user and without liability or legal exposure to ENGEO Incorporated. The
recipient is responsible for verifying the accuracy of data against governing hard copy documentation.Recipient assumes all risks in the changing or
modification of data and revisions or updating of hard copy documents.
1
